What is Openbravo?

The heart of our unified commerce platform

Historically specialised in in-store transactions (POS), Openbravo has evolved into a complete, modular suite of solutions covering the entire retail cycle and suited for demanding environments.

POS, Mobile POS (mPOS), Self-Checkout (SCO): Openbravo unifies checkout across every touchpoint, fixed terminal, mobile, self-checkout, as well as web orders and mobile apps, on a single platform.

Openbravo handles all store-specific stock flows (receiving, internal movements, order preparation, inventory counting and incident management) with a mobile app designed for field teams.

OMS (Order Management System): Openbravo natively includes an order orchestration engine able to handle the most complex scenarios, including modifications, exceptions, partial payments, supplier replenishments... a level of sophistication rarely available natively within a unified commerce platform.

PIM (Product Information Management): Openbravo centralises product data and lets you publish your catalogues simultaneously across all your sales channels, in-store, online and on marketplaces.

HQ and in-store Backoffice: Openbravo lets you define your business rules, pricing and promotions at head-office level while leaving each subsidiary, brand or point of sale the flexibility it needs. Performance is steered at every level, from the global network down to the individual store.

Repair, Rental, Second-Hand: Openbravo brings circular commerce models (repair, rental and second-hand) into the same platform, without the need of additional systems or suppliers.

Openbravo POS works seamlessly with Openbravo SSMS, a mobile solution dedicated to in-store stock management. This ensures unified, real-time stock information without the complexity of a traditional WMS.

Yes. The platform includes extensive country-specific compliance capabilities: local taxes, e-invoicing, multi-currency, multi-language and the certifications required in markets such as France or Portugal.

None in terms of capabilities: Openbravo Mobile POS offers 100% of the features of the fixed POS, on smartphone or tablet, with no need for a local server or an additional payment device. It is the same application, designed for in-store mobility.
